Amplifidor set out with a bold mission: to connect people by empowering everyone to become an influencer within their own niche. At its core, Amplifidor is a mobile application company dedicated to creating meaningful connections and building trust in the power of communities. Facing the challenge of entering a new market and transitioning from a focus on influencer marketing to becoming a scalable business with a consulting edge, Amplifidor needed more than a strategy—it needed leadership to make things happen.

That’s where Takos Consulting stepped in, with three members of our network—Alessandro, Luca, and Lara—joining the team as fractional executives to drive the transformation:

What We Did
We took an integrated executive role, blending strategy with execution across three key areas:
1. Mobile Application Strategy and Development (Chief Platform Officer – Lara):
Coordinated the design and development of the Amplifidor app, managing a distributed team of developers and tech specialists located across the globe.
Ensured the app’s scalability and functionality while staying true to its mission of making influencer power accessible to everyone.
Introduced features to personalize user experiences, such as recommendation engines, user-driven journeys, and gamified elements like badges and rewards.
Streamlined onboarding processes and analytics frameworks to enhance usability and measure impact.
Fostered a collaborative development culture, aligning distributed teams toward common goals and ensuring on-time delivery.
2. Strategic Ventures Development (Chief Ventures Officer – Alessandro):
Built a Strategic Business Consulting arm, positioning Amplifidor as a partner for organizations seeking to leverage the app’s functionality in new and innovative ways.
Developed long-term strategic partnerships with clients, turning application services into consulting opportunities that extended Amplifidor’s reach and relevance.
Leveraged expertise in distributed organizational models to create value for both users and clients.
3. Growth and Media Leadership (Chief Growth and Media Officer – Luca):
Defined and executed Amplifidor’s growth strategy, linking marketing, media, and communications to the company’s evolving business model.
Reimagined Amplifidor’s brand story to emphasize its mission of democratizing influence and creating community-driven impact.
Oversaw media and advertising campaigns to amplify visibility and connect with diverse audiences, ensuring alignment with app features and user needs.
4. Collaborative Innovation:
Conducted Service Design Workshops to align app functionalities with user expectations. Key focus areas included:
Simplifying the experience with intuitive UI/UX improvements.
Gamification elements to enhance user engagement and loyalty.
Building trust through personalized invitations and tailored community tools.
Fostered cross-functional collaboration, integrating insights from tech, marketing, and consulting teams to shape Amplifidor’s direction.
THE OUTCOMES
A fully operational beta mobile app, optimized for scalability and engagement.
A consulting arm established to extend Amplifidor’s business model into long-term strategic partnerships, including an innovative subscription based business model, almost never adopted in consultancy before.
Comprehensive growth and media strategies, a compelling and differenciating brand narrative and positioning, aimed at driving brand visibility and user acquisition.
